Depois de um tempo sumido deste blog volto onde sempre me senti confortável, escrevendo diversas variadades a pessoas de localidades opostas sendo algumas que não conheço. O motivo do sumiço? Bom sempre aquela desculpa de correria mas acho que desta vez tem sido pela razão de um branco por falta de inspiração mesmo. Até mesmo aqueles post malanders sobre documentários que adoro tanto escrever esteve fora de minha mente ultimamente. Tenho alguns para assistir inclusive acho que logo em seguida vou ver o novo do Michael Moore, então esperem uma não critica mas sim espere uma humilde opnião sobre.

Bom realmente o tempo tem passado rápido. Já faz mais de um ano que embarquei para Melbourne, já faz mais de um ano que fui para Melboune Cup e já faz mais de um ano que me vesti de Papai Noel e cantei hip hop em um parque para um bando de gente desconhecida hahaha.

Tenho tentado balancear minhas leituras ou imagens assistidas entre a ficção e realidade. Me peguei lendo o livro de Alain de Botton The Art of Travel e logo em seguida pulando para Tolkien em seu narrativo bom, lento dando um pouco de sono, "but still good" O Silmarillion. Aposto que sou mais um dos muitos que adorou o filme cult do momento "500 days of Summer" e ter sentindo a incrível coincidência em fatos apresentada neste belo modesto filme.

Acho que após aquela empolgação inicial sinto novamente os pés no chão e apenas apreciando a marotagem a lá Rod Stewart e Neil Diamond que vem sindo apresentada. Estou também cansado de alguns fatores repetitivos que já não suportava antes. Porém continuo sempre otimista, paciente e cada vez sussa.

Tenho trabalhando e ocupado a cabeça bastante o que tem me deixado tranquilo novamente. Porque mesmo estando em férias nada como ter algo para fazer.

E com isso o tempo vai passando mais um aniversário comemorado em volta de pessoas queridas, mais um Natal a ser celebrado destava vez novamente perto dos familiares e com aquela velha inspiração e gana novamente restaurada.

Bom é isso minha pele volta como estava antes e o jogo entre serpentes e estrelas continua.

After a long time disappeared I come back here to a place where I always liked and felt comfortable to write to people from opposites directions, some of them that I don't even know. The reason of this emptiness? Well I could use that old excuse that I didn't have time to post something but the real truth is that I had feeling a totally emptiness of inspiration to write. Even those posts about documentaries that I always liked had been out of my mind lately. By the way, with my inspiration back I pretend write a.s.a.p about the new Michael Moore's documentary. And just to remember when I say "write about" I mean it's not a critic but just a humble suggestion.

Well the time it's really going fast. It's been more than a year that I left house and went to Melbourne (but not a year since I come back), it's been a year that I went to a Melbourne Cup with Iker and other friends and it's been a year that I sang Hip Hop at Flagstaff garden for a lot of strangers. (really funny).

I've been trying to balance between reality and fiction in my reading and watching. Recently I just finished Alain De Botton's "The Art of Travel" book and passed to Tolkien in his "Silmarillion". I bet that I'm just one more among those who loved the new cult movie of the moment "500 days of Summer" and felt an incredible coincidence in that story in our life.

I think I feel my reality back again and feeling glad about that. I've been working a lot and keeping my head busy.

So with this time is passing by, another birthday celebrated, another Xmas to enjoy bus this time close to my family again and with that my ambition burning again inside me.

My skin is back again and that game between snakes and stars keep going by my side.

Fim de semana passada fui almoçar no shopping e presenciei uma cena que ao meu ponto de vista entristece.

Um casal estava passeando no shopping com o aparentemente seu filho recém nascido, o que até ai tudo bem, o casal tinha uma estrutura boa e a mãe estava até brincando com seu filho, só que ele não estava em seu colo e sim de sua babá. Isso sendo sábado por volta da uma da tarde. Eu achei uma cena totalmente vergonhosa o casal pimpão todo mallanders andando a vontade enquanto isso sua babá com toda uma vestimenta de trabalho carregando o bebê para todos os lados. E a mãe na hora de brincar com a criança nem teve coragem de pega-lá nos braços.

Veja bem não sou contra a um casal ter uma babá, pelo contrário ainda nesses dias que ambos o casal trabalham. Meu irmão e minha cunhada são um exemplo, é a babá que salva eles durante a semana.

Mas é isso durante a semana pô! Se nem no fim de semana os pais vão dar aquela atenção e aproveitar o tempo com os filhos e participar do cotidiano nas horas boas e ruins, imagina na correria do dia a dia da semana.

E sem contar que a cena ficou um preconceito com a classe inferior, foi ridiculo.

Mas o que mais me deixou irritado foi o pai pamonhão não fazer nada tbem e na verdade nem estava se preocupando muito com aquilo.

Bom infelizmente esse é o pensamento de alguns só fico imaginando como essa criança irá crescer.

Last weekend I went to have lunch in a shopping mall and I saw a scene that made me sad.

A couple, a young couple, was passing with their baby child and the mother was playing with her (so far, so good). But her child wasn't in her arms, was in nanny's arms. This been Saturday around one o' clock in the afternoon. I don't know about other countries but here in Brazil is more common have a nanny only in the week days while the couple works. So the sad scene I thought was that even the mother trying to play with her child, she couldn't even get her in her arms. It was obviously that was a rich couple and while they're passing through the shops, nanny was holding the baby.

I want to make clear that I'm not against couples having nannies, I agreed with that. My brother and sister-in-law have one and she works during the week while they work. But on weekends they take care of my nieces, they usually go out to have fun with them.

Imagine this, if during the weekend that rich couple don't spend all time (even the bad ones, like clean, etc..) imagine during on week day while they work.

Unfortunately this is getting common with our generation. Living like this I can imagine how that kid will grow up.

Documentaries Part Six (Port-Eng)

Olá pessoal, vim aqui continuar a falar sobre alguns documentários malemolentes.

Na verdade mesmo irei falar sobre dois filmes. Mas acho que se encaixa melhor aqui na seção de documentários.

Zeitgeist (2007) (USA)

Dividido em três partes este fime muito polêmico por sinal, traz teorias muito interessantes sobre religião e conspiração.

A primeira parte, que a meu ver é a parte mais vamos dizer que dá um sono. Não pelo o tema ser chato pelo contrário mas sim pelo

modo que foi apresentado talvez. Enfim é apresentado um estudo que explica que a adoração por Deus nada mais e nada menos

vem da adoração pelo Sol, e que na verdade Deus nunca existiu e sim essa adoração por ele foi somente inventada com base

nessa adoração pelo Sol dos povos antigos como os Egipcios.

Realmente são mostradas algumas coincidências. Mas acredito que se você procurar alguma coincidência em qualquer fato você

consegue achar de alguma maneira. E como não gosto muito de opniar sobre religião digo que esta primeira parte é muito boa para

assistir e deixa-las somente em seus pensamentos e ter seus próprios conflitos, rs.

Na segunda parte, onde as coisas começam a ficar realmente interessantes, é aprensentado um estudo que a tragédia de 11 de

Setembro não foi elaborada por Bin Laden, mas sim por cidadões ammericanos. São mostradas imagens, estudos e conversas telefônicas

de diversos figurões americanos, declarações muitos sinitras por sinal, que mostra diversas irregularidades na investigação após a

tragédia.

Olha realmente não acredito que um país possa fazer tal coisa pelo mesmo. Mas que ficam muitas perguntas no ar e uma pulga

atrás da orelha isso sim.

Na terceira parte e discutido sobre os grandes figurões na tentativa de criar um unico banco mundial e como isso acarretou ou

talvez criou a fim de um bode expiatório a Grande Depressão na economia americana nas décadas de 30 e 40.

Esse foi um dos documentários que mais gostei até agora e realmente recomendo assistir, você não irá se arrepender.

Os Piratas do Vale do Silicio (1999) (U.S.A)

Este é tipo de filme e documentário com um certo tom de humor. Mostra quem criou e como criou as das duas maiores companhias de tecnologia do mundo de hoje, a Apple Computer e Microsoft Inc.

Intercalando entre as vidas de Stevie Jobs e Bill Gates até no final acabarem se juntando, mostra como foram suas juventudes e suas "marotagens" para conseguir o que queriam e também sem esquecer de suas loucuras do dia dia.

O filme é bem legal, não o julgue pela capa, o foco dele é tratar como as ideías foram tomadas e não somente falar sobre tecnologia.

Hi guys, I come to here to talk about other two documentaries. Actually they are more movies, but I think it will fix here better.

Zeitgeist (2007) (USA)

Divided in three parts, brings theories and conspirations very very interesting about religion and facts that happened.

The first part, which in my point of view is the slowest but not boring about the subject, it just maybe the way that was introduced. So, it shows a theory that the power in believe in God it's just comes from the power in believe in Sun as a God. Says that God didn't exist at all and this love was just copied from a love that many ancient cultures believed in Sun as a God. People and cultures like the egyptians for example.

It shows many coincidences about this subject. But I believe you can find coincidences in many places about many differents subjects as well. Personally I don't like to talk too much about religion but I think watch this first part is good to think about the subject on your own, in your personal conflicts, lol.

In the second part, it's where things begin more interesting. It shows a study that the happenings of September 11th weren't made by Bin Laden but were made by U.S.A citzens. It shows many images, studies and phone conversations of many public american figures that show many irregularities in the investigation after tragedy.

Look, personally I don't believe that a country can do this for itself. But this doc gaved to me a lot of questions without answers.

In the third part it's discussed about big figures in attempt to creat a unique worldwide bank and how this could had a relation with the Great Depressesion in 30's and 40's decade.

This doc is one that I most like, I think you won't be regret after watch.

Pirates of Silicon Valley (1999) (U.S.A)

This one is some kind of semi-humorous doc that shows the men who created the biggest companies of Technology int the world. Of course I'm talking about Apple Computer and Microsoft Inc.

In some parts Stevie or Bill, it shows their actions, sometimes ingenious and sometimes a little evil, how they created the companies and how was their youth in that time. Of course not forgetting their crazy attitudes sometimes.

This movies is pretty cool, don't judge its cover, its focus is shows how ideas was formed and how was made and not only talk about technology.

Documentaries Part Five - (Port - Eng)

Mais um documentário sobre o meio ambiente. Apesar que docs sobre esse tema nunca é demais.
Ótima edição de som e imagem. O doumentário mostra a transformação que o planeta vem sofrendo com nossa evolução.
Citando coisas e estatisticas importantes com por exemplo: Metade dos países pobres tem os maiores recursos naturais. Que acabam sendo consumidos pelos países mais ricos.
Mas o que mais me deixou abismado, algo que já sabia mas nem tanto, é Dubai. Um lugar q não faz lembar outra coisa a não ser dinheiro. Mas ao mesmo tempo uma imagem tão superficial. Com tantas mega super construções que nem sei da onde vão tirar tanta gente para colocar lá.
Sem dúvida esse doc é mais um alerta para o que vem por ai. E com sua mensagem vc pode ficar apreciando algumas das belas imagens que vão aparecendo.

With great sound and image edition, the doc shows how planet is changing and suffering with our evolution.
It shows and tells good statistics of what is happening, for example half of poor countries have the most natural resources. Which are been using by rich countries, of course.
But what had impressed me is when I saw about Dubai. I've seen before about it, but it always suprised me again. It's a place that only remember me money but in a superficially way. With its all huge constructions I don't know where they will find some many people to put there.

Without doubt this doc is one more alert for what it comes. And at the same time you enjoy the beautiful image that this doc offers.

O Senado está na bica de aprovar uma lei que cerceia a cobertura jornalística eletrônica durante as eleições.

Nesta quarta (2), o texto voi aprovado em sessão conjunta de duas comissões: a de Justiça e a de Ciência e Tecnologia.

Segue agora para a votação em plenário, que deve ocorrer na semana que vem. Prevê coisas assim:

1. Em ano eleitoral, blogs, portais e sítios noticiosos ficam proibidos de emitir opinião sobre qualquer candidato. Contra, a favor, muito pelo contrário... Nada pode.

2. Charges que façam graça com o ridículo também não serão admitidas.

Criar uma outra realidade a fim de não querer enxergar a própria seria uma loucura ou um meio de motivação para alcançar algo melhor.

Muitas pessoas gostam de fantasiar para poder esquecer suas preocupações e realidade que enfrentamos no dia dia. Tentando talvez esquecer algo que não está acontecendo de bom e com isso se motivando para alcançar algo melhor. O que na verdade tratando essa questão acho que ajuda bastante.

Outras já inventam fantasias somente com finalidade de fingir superioridade em relação ao próximo. Acredito que isso na verdade vai trazer mais tristeza a própria pessoa do que a outra. Porque no fundo ele sempre vai saber que está tentando enganar a si próprio. E isso é patético.

Temos que ter sonhos e correr atrás com unhas e dentes mas sempre mantendo a humildade. Eu pessoalmente acredito que ser mala acaba sofrendo um certo de zica no seu karma rs...

Vc deve estar se perguntando o Alan tem feito para ficar viajando esses dias. Na verdade sempre fiquei pensanso nessas coisas e com a ajuda da mobilidade tenho a oportunidade de otimizar o tempo (coisa que adoro) e colocar mais coisas aqui no blog.

Create a fantasy or reality with reason of not see its own reality can be a way of craziness or a way of motivation to reach a better situation?

Many people like to dream about others situations or realities and forget its own reality that we suffer everyday. Maybe trying to forget of something bad is happening and with this motivating us to reach a better condition. Which by the way I think in this situation helps a lot.

Others try to create some fantasy with purpose of pretend to be in a higher level of others. I believe this brings more sadness than happiness. Because is trying to fool the own person, and this is pathetic.

We always have to run for our dreams, fight for them. But at the same time not forgeting who we are and where we came. I really believe that being an asshole will bring a bad karma, lol.

So it's probably that you are asking "Why Alan is talking about this suddenly?". Actually, I always had this kind of thought but now I putting here and sharing with you when I've time. lol

Marotice rolou nesta ultima sexta no sempre classico Ibotirama. Eu, Vilches, Joao Paulo Tozo, Karen e Renan nos reunimos para mais umas cervejas, tequilas e cachaças malemolentes. Só uma pena que Rod Stewart e Fabio Jr. tiveram muitos problemas com sua agenda e não compareceram a mesa. heheheh.

Sempre fazemos essas reuniões marotas mas sempre esqueciamos de registrar antes, mas dessa vez temos algumas fotos marotices.

Não adianta o quanto rodamos e o quanto mais longe vamos. Você pode aprender coisas novas, mudar sua percepção em relação a muitas coisas. Mas em certos momentos nos encontramos em estado de espírito de como se o tempo não tivesse passado, ou quem sabe você não tenha mudado. Lembro de diversas situações do passado e desejo como gostaria de ter sido diferente, como gostaria de ter tomado outro rumo.
E aqueles mal necessários? Aquele momento que foi muito dureza mas hoje agradeço que tenha acontecido. Mas sempre achei que se ficar se prendendo ao "SE..." é uma perca de tempo porque nada vai mudar o passado.

Tenho grandes expectativas (mas sem perder a calma) de momentos que certamente irão chegar e outros que muito desejo mas tenho grandes dúvidas que irão acontecer. Porque também já se foi o tempo de sonhar com tudo. Mas mesmo assim a esperança é a ultima que morre.
Não quero de mão beijada, não quero simples e fácil. Só desejo que o destino coloque as oportunidades em meu caminho e eu ser sábio o suficiente para saber que decisões tomar.

Enquanto isso sigo meu caminho, não que seja um caminho ruim na verdade. É tão bom o suficiente que consigo manter esta casca facilmente. E quem sabe um dia o destino ainda jogue comigo como nos contos de serpentes e estrelas.

It doesn't matter how long we ride or how far we go. You can learn new things, you can change your perspective about many things. But in certain moments we find ourselves in some situations like time didn't change at all or maybe we didn't change at all. I remember many situations of past and I wish how I'd like to changed that, how I'd like to took other decision.
And about necessary evils? Tough moments that hapenned but today I'm greatful because they teached me so much.
But at same time I always thought that thinking too much about "what if" it's a great loss of time because nothing will change the past.

I have great expectations (but without loose my mind) of moments that certainly will come and others that I really want but I'm not so sure that will happen. Because it's already time to stop to dream about everything, (but never loosing hope).
I don't want these "hopes" in an easy way, or just happening quickly. I just wish that destiny puts these oportunities in my way and I be wise enough to deal with them.

For while I follow my way which it's not a bad way actually. It's good enough that I can keep these skin easily. And who knows if one day destiny plays with me again these tales of serpents and stars.

Bom galera voltando a saga dos documentários, vou falar agora de dois que considero um dos melhores que já vi até agora. Vamos lá.

Surplus - Terrorized Into Being Consumers (2003 - Sweden)

O objetivo principal desse é falar sobre o consumismo cada vez maior no planeta. Alternando em diversos países e situações o documentário entrevista pessoas no seu dia dia. Alguns famosos exemplos são citados como a cúpula do G8 e Fidel Castro em Cuba.

Mas o diferencial desse documentário sem duvida é a edição deixando ele super foda com seus mixes transformando quase em musicas.

Partes hilárias que posso destacar é uma entrevista de uma garota cubana descrevendo sua primeira viagem a Londres e uma palestra motivacional feita pelo presidente da Microsoft Mike Balmer.

Realmente minhas palavras não descrevem o documentário a altura, mas eu altamente recomendo vc’s assistirem. Ele é ótimo.

What would Jesus buy? (2007 - U.S.A)

Esse documentário é hilário e ao mesmo tempo preocupante. Ele mostra a missão do Reverendo Billy e o coral da igreja “Stop Shopping” em salvar o Natal do “Shopocalypse”.

O que seria isto? Ele mostra que o povo se interessa demais em comprar e comprar e cada vez menos viver, com isso perdendo sua liberdade e se apegando cada vez mais aos bens materiais.

Focado no período do Natal onde principalmente nos EUA rola uma loucura do povo quase matarem uns aos outros para poder pegar o ultimo item na prateleira do shopping.

Cenas hilárias acontecem por exemplo quando o Reverendo Billy entra em uma loja da Disney dizendo que o Mickey Mouse é o anticristo ou quando eles vão tentar exorcizar uma loja do Wall Mart.

Realmente vale a pena, ah e quem ajudou a produzir foi Morgan Spurlock o mesmo do Super Size Me e 30 days.

Hi guys, I'm back to talk about documentaries that I like and recommend, these two are the ones that I like most. So let's go.

Surplus - Terrorized Into Being Consumers (2003 - Sweden)
The main point is to talk about consumption in the Western world. Giving us some interviews to an techno soundtrack, resulting in what can best be described as the cinematic equivalent of hip hop.

The great idea of this one is absolutely the music edition with techno music and using famous figures as examples to talk about consumption. The movie knows those problems and uses it’s editing to mock both personalities, like introducing a Cuban girl telling us how impressed she was by the well stocked supermarkets on her trip to London. On other hand, in its criticism of corporatism, showing a crazy Mike Balmer (Microsoft C.E.O) in full motivational mode, screaming how much he loves Microsoft.

I really can’t describe this doc how much it deserves, but I can assure that is really good.

I really want to thank my friend Linton from Australia for introduced me this work of art. Thanks man.

What would Jesus buy? (2007 - U.S.A)

This doc is hilarious and at the same time gives us a little concern. It shows the mission of Reverend Billy and the Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir to save Chirstmas from the Shopocalypse.

Shopocalypse shows people that are suffering of being addicted consumers and with this loosing their freedom and only caring about materials products.

Focus on Chirstmas season, mainly in U.S.A stores where crazy things happen in this time. Shows how people can reach to only buy a product that most of times they don’t really need it.

Hilarious scenes happen for example when Reverend Billy enter in a Disney shop and starts to yell that Mickey Mouse is the antichirst. Or when he and his group go to a Wall Mart shop and try to exorcise the shop, lol.

It’s really good and one another good thing is that Morgan Spurlock from Super Size Me and 30 days helped producing this documentary.

So if you really like doc’s you will love these two.

É pessoal, eu uma pessoa que já critiquei a série Harry Potter antes, (tudo bem que minhas críticas eram baseadas nos filmes e não nos livros) venho aqui para dizer que vai ser foda esperar os ultimos dois filmes, dois porque o ultimo livro 'Death Hallows' irá ser dividido em dois.

Minha mudança de opnião aconteceu quando comecei a ler os livros, o que a principio a finalidade da leitura era mais para treinar o inglês, isso porque estava comprando livros importados, do que conhecer a série. Mas digo, eu comecei a gostar da série a partir do livro 'Prisioneiro de Azkaban' porque os dois primeiros foram meio chatinhos. Então com o tempo essa simples pratica foi tbem se transformando em gosto pela série tbem.

Terminei os ultimos três livros quando ainda estava na Australia e fiquei mau gosto de vazio quando tinha se acabado, mas ao mesmo tempo feliz com o final. Agora o porque essa minha mudança de opnião? Bom sinto que a partir do terceiro livro a série vai deixando todo aquele toque infantil e se tornando cada ves mais sombria, o que adoro ambientes assim. Então com o passar do tempo fui me apegando cada vez mais a história e aumentando a vontade de saber o final.

Bom sobre o ultimo livro nem preciso falar o que se passa porque acho que todos aqui saibam. Mas voltando a falar sobre o ultimo filme "Harry Potter and the half-blood Prince", onde pude conferir na ultima terça com minha amiga Gabi, finalmente posso dizer que um filme da série ficou realmente bom. Até o momento é o melhor filme que fizeram e acertaram em quase tudo sua adaptação. Sempre fiquei um pouco frustado em relação aos ultimos filmes, principalmente o filme "A Ordem da Fênix" que deixou muito a desejar. Tirando pela melação do casal principal posso dizer que o filme acertou em cheio.

Ah outra coisa que sempre apreciei sobre a série mesmo antes de começar a lê-la foi que a autora conseguiu tirar a molecada da frente da TV e da internet e voltar a gastar um bom tempo com livros novamente.

Bom por enquanto é isso, agora é só esperar algum bom tempo para conferir os próximos dois filmes.

Guys, I was one who criticized Harry Potter's serie before (well, by one hand all my critics were based on the movies and not in the books). So I'm here to say that will be very difficult to wait for the last two movies, two because the last book "Death Hallows" it will be divided in two movies. My change of opinion happened when I started to read the books, first of all the reason to read was to pratice english, but after the third book "Azkaban Prisioner" I started to enjoy the story.

I've finished the three last books when I was in Australia and I remember that in the end I was with a feeling of emptiness, but at the same moment I was happy with how ended the story.
Now why I changed my mind? Well, I feel that after the third book the story was getting darker and I really enjoy this. So with the time and reaching the last book I already was a fan.

Well talking back about the movies, I could check last week the movie "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" with my friend Gabi. So finally I can say that they really made a movie that attend the story of the book. This because I didnt like so much the previous movies. Specially the "The Order of the Phoenix" that I've expected so much. So I really recommend to watch this movie and let' wait for the Grand Finale.

Othe thing that I really appreciated about Harry Potter even before enjoy the serie, was that the Author could take off kids from the front of TV and Internet and put again to the old books.

Essa musica não necessariamente das mais famosas do álbum mas mesmo assim é uma das minhas preferidas e pelo que pude ver o vídeo é muito bom também. Tente assistir em HD que é muito melhor ainda.

Guys, I’ve been very busy in my work. I’m involved in a big very nice project.

Well, I’m still developing my next post about more documentaries. My list of doc to see in growing up. But with the time I’ll posting more and more opnions.

I’ve just watched a good video clip from The Killers. The music is called “A Dustland Fairytale”. This music belongs the album Day & Age, is not the most famous music of the album actually, but I like it a lot.

Bom, hoje comecei em um novo trampo, depois de ter voltado da Austrália estou iniciando uma nova etapa desta vez na empresa Atos Origin. Para aqueles que me conhecem da Petrobrás estarei trabalhando com o nosso colega o Renato, filho do Barão de Suzano hehe.

Ilha das Flores, Brasil - (1989)
Este documentário brasileiro, como você pode notar não é exatamente um lançamento, mas ainda acho que a mensagem dever ser ouvida por muitos lugares do Brasil.

O documentário acompanha a trajetória de um simples tomate, desde a plantação até ser jogado fora, o documentário mostra os problemas causados pela desigualdade social.

Ele não é longo, você pode achar ele para assistir em partes no YouTube.

Hacking Democracy, E.U.A - (2006)
Este documentário foi produzido pela emissora HBO. Filmado por durante três anos documenta americanos comuns investigando e mostrando anomalias sobre o “E-Voting” o sistema eletrônico que foi responsável pelas eleições presidenciais de 2000 e 2004.

O que mais deixa espantando é como são grotescas as descobertas sobre este sistema, coisas das mais estranhas como uma mulher conseguir achar na Internet o código inteiro do sistema e fazer o download.

Esse documentário é uma boa pedida, principalmente para os amantes de conspirações, porque com certeza ficamos com a duvida sobre o escândalo envolvendo as eleição presidencial entre Bush e Al Gore.

Ilha das Flores, Brazil - (1989)
This brazilian documentary was made in 1989, isn’t exactly a new release but I think the message still has some value in some places here in Brazil.

It shows an ironic, heartbreaking and acid "saga" of a spoiled tomato: from the plantation of a "Nisei" (Brazilian with Japanese origins); to a supermarket; to a consumer's kitchen to become sauce of a pork meat; to the garbage can since it is spoiled for the consumption; to a garbage truck to be dumped in a garbage dump in "Ilha das Flores"; to the selection of nutriment for pigs by the employees of a pigs breeder; to become food for poor Brazilian people.

You can easily find on internet this one with english subtitles.

Hacking Democracy, U.S.A - (2006)
This documentary was produced by HBO. Filmed over three years it documents American citizens investigating anomalies and irregularities with “E-voting” eletronic voting systems that ocurred during America’s 2000 and 2004 elections.

It shows a lot of strange things about this system, I think the worst that happened it was a woman could find and download the system's code from the internet.

This is a good choice to watch, specially those who love conspiracy's stories, because after watch it certainly comes to mind the question about the election between Bush and Al Gore.

Documentaries Part Two (Portuguese-English)

The Killers anunciam planos para fazer um CD de covers.

Uma das minhas bandas favoritas “The Killers” anunciaram para o site NME.com, um plano para fazer um CD somente com musicas covers.

Falaram também da difícil escolha de quais artistas e musicas entrariam nesse CD. Algumas preferências favoritas como Cyndi Lauper e Iggy Pop, mas estão pensando em muitos nomes, inclusive até o do maroto Neil Diamond. Seria muito maroto máster escutar um Neil Diamond pelo Killers, hehehe.

Além disso eles estão planejando a gravar este álbum enquanto estão em turnê, porque eles tem um estúdio móvel viajando com eles. Olha que chic hein, heheh.

One of my favourites bands, The Killers have told to the NME.com that the band are planning to record an album of covers in this year.

They said as well, the hard part in which songs choose to record. They spoke some preferencies like Iggy Pop and Cyndi Lauper, but they said that they’re thinking in everybody, some examples like Neil Diamond. I think Neil Diamond could be a great choice, really.

By the way, they’re planning to record this album while on their current tour, The Killers have a mobile recording rig on the road with them. Hehehe pretty fancy, isn’t it?

O Jornal inglês “The Daily Telegraph” fez uma matéria mostrando os 10 usuários internacionais mais influentes do Twitter. E não é que o treinador do TIMÃO EO!!! ficou na lista.

A reportagem cita personalidade de diversos países que influenciam muita gente pelos site do Twitter, dê uma olhada é bem interessante.

O que eu acho sobre o Twitter? Bom para personalidades que sempre são citadas pela mídia, acho legal esse esquema do Twitter porque realmente ficamos sabendo o que se passa na cabeça deles. Mas ficar acompanhando todo mundo também, já é falta do que fazer. Com tanto site ai por aí, vai ter gente que não vai sair mais da cadeira, rs.

Ah e parece que a moda pegou o treinador do Palmeiras Vanderlei Luxemburgo também criou um twitter. Vixi já estou vendo onde isso vai parar hehehe.

One american show that I really like is The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Many times I check the website to watch the videos of the episodes or sometimes I watch the full episode on Sony channel on TV.

This one is pretty funny because everybody is talking about Mr. President Barack Obama killing a fly during an interview, a just simple thing that everybody is loving because they just love Obama or they don't have anyelse to tell.

But this one is funny because they make a joke about that, check it out.

Um programa americano que gosto bastane é o "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart", programa que passa no canal a cabo da Sony, mas pena que o programa não é diário aqui, porque no E.U.A é. Então por isso direto eu vou ao site para assistir os vídeos dos episódios.

Esse em particular dei muita risada porque eles fazem uma sátira ao fato do Presidente Barack Obama ter matado uma mosca durante uma entrevista. Um assunto nada demais que toda a mídia tem falado, ou seja pela fato deles amarem tanto ele, ou não ter nada melhor para mostrar. Mas o vídeo é muito engraçado, vejam.

Caso queiram acompanhar mais episódios veja o site e vá a aba de videos, porque a aba de episódios inteiros não da acesso aqui, mas mesmo em videos você consegue ver o episódio inteiro por partes.

A unica coisa ruim é que o áudio só tá em inglês.

Eu sempre me interessei por algumas iniciativas da Google, uma que cheguei a mencionar nos primeiros posts deste humilde blog, foi a ferramenta StreetView do GoogleMaps. Outras ferramentas não criadas exatamente por eles, mas com o oportunismo acabaram comprando, no caso do Youtube.

Hoje venho aqui falar do GoogleBooks, coisa que não é nenhuma novidade porque a ferramenta já existe há algum tempo. Mas para aqueles que não sabem, é uma ferramenta que você pode consultar muitos livros e revistas com todo acesso ao conteúdo, isso claro, aqueles livros que Google obteve licensa, ou caso o livro seja de um domínio publico.

Mas venho falar dela porque a ferramenta teve alguns “upgrades”, com diversos novos recursos, como “Embeds e Links”, “Thumbnail View” das paginas, de algumas revistas de domínio publico, e entre outros mais.

Aconselho você dar uma conferida no próprio blog do Google Books, sem duvida é um ótima ferramenta para quem quer ler muitos livros sem ter que sair procurando na cidade. Apesar que ler o próprio livro nas próprias mãos é bem melhor heheh.

I always had interest in some iniciatives made by Google. One that I’ve told before here was about the tool StreetView from GoogleMaps. Others tools weren’t created by them exactly, but with the time they bought the product to continue and improve it, YouTube for example.

Today I came here to talk about the GoogleBooks, it’s not a new tool exactly but for those who don’t know, GoogleBooks it’s a tool that you can consult a big number of books and magazines with all access free, of course in books or magazines with public domain. Someones you just have limited access.

But the main reason of this talk its about the new improvements that GoogleBooks received lately. Improvements like Embeds and links, Thumbnails of the magazines for example and much more.

I advice you check it out this tool, or check the official GoogleBooks blog. It’s a good way to read a lot of books without going to the stores. However, in my opinion I still think that read the book on hands is much better.

Antes que posso dar continuidade no post sobre os documentários gostaria de colocar um adendo para falar sobre as finais da NBA.
Está realmente muito foda a final entre Orlando Magic e Los Angeles Lakers. Os ganhadores das conferências Leste e Oeste respectivamente estão fazendo jogos incríveis.
Bom até agora já foram três jogos e o saldo está 2 x 1 para os Lakers, ontem foi a primeira conquista do Orlando e hoje as 10.00pm horário de Brasília vai acontecer o quarto jogo na casa do Orlando, vamos ver o que vai dar. Mas admito que minha torcida aqui está para os Lakers.

Documentaries - Part two (Portuguese - English)

Depois de muito tempo parado o blog volta com corda toda, teve até uma mudança no layout, sei que um blog usualmente tem que ser atualizado com mais freqüência, coisa que tentarei melhorar por aqui.

Bom alguns post atrás eu estava começando a indicar alguns documentários que estou vendo ultimamente, bom aqui começa a parte dois deste post.

Status Anxiety – (UK, 2004)

Este documentário apresentado por Alain de Botton mostra a tese do livro também chamado “Status Anxiety” escrito pelo próprio apresentador.

A tese discute o desejo de muitas pessoas em muitas sociedades modernas na busca por felicidade, sendo que a preocupação sobre o que os outros pensam mostra que isso é o maior impedimento para o sucesso. Porque para muitas pessoas sucesso seria ter os mesmos ou melhores padrões em relação aos outros. Em um exemplo seria o caso de você não ter uma casa igual aos dos outros independente se você tem o dinheiro ou não, você pode ser considerado um fracassado pelas as pessoas a sua volta. Com isso essa aparência de maior riqueza dos outros pode causar um sofrimento em você por não estar seguindo esses padrões.

São mostrados alguns exemplos especialmente nos U.S.A de algumas pessoas ou lugares que seguem esses problemas, mas também mostrando alguns lugares já com sua solução.

Alain mostra um lado muito interessante da sociedade e faz você pensar em até que pontos chegamos para tentar a “felicidade” as vezes nem tanto verdadeira desejada.

O Documentário é dividido em três partes, cada um com uma média de 45 minutos, pela minha opnião, eu achei tão bom que nem percebi o tempo passar, assisti tudo em um dia. Você pode até encontrar no youtube para assistir, caso queira com legenda, acredito que você possa achar sem problemas em algum site.
Se tiver algum tempo assista, acredito que valha muito a pena e se puder volte aqui e deixe seu comentário a respeito dele.

Man On Wire (2008)
Fugindo um pouco do assunto sobre sociedade e seus problemas, gostaria de falar sobre esse documentário que está sendo bem falado devido a ter ganhado o Oscar este ano.

Man on Wire conta a história de um equilibrista que era fascinado pelas torres gêmeas do WTC em Nova York e seu maior sonho era poder se equilibrar em um cabo entre elas.

Contado um pouco sobre a vida do francês Philippe Petit’s e sua paixão pelo equilíbrio a história começa com todas suas audácia, feita com a colaboração de sua turma e antiga namorada, em se em equilibrar em pontos mundialmente famosos, como as torres da catedral de Norte Drame e as torres da ponte de Harbour em Sydney. Mas com certeza o foco se baseia em todo o plano feito em como se equilibrar entre as duas maiores torres daquela época. Alcançando o êxito de fazer o considerado por muitos o “maior crime artístico de todos os tempos”.

Eu achei o documentário com uma beleza incrível e mostra a coragem do destemido Philippe, sem dúvida o cara é um artista.

A produção do documentário é belíssima, merecendo o Oscar com total honras.

Guys, after a long time without post I come here to continue to talk about the documentaries that I’ve been watching lately. I know that a blog has to be updated with more frequency, so I’ll try my best to get it better this situation.

So let’s start.

Status Anxiety – (UK, 2004)
This documentary presented by Alain de Botton is about his thesis, also called “Status Anxiety”.

The thesis is about the search of happiness of many people in different societies and the anxieties that result from a focus on how one is perceived by others. Because happines for many people is have a quality wealth that is equal or better of others. Doesn’t matter if you have the same needs but still you need to show the same apparence of wealth like everybody else. This anxieties of focus on how you is perceived shows as well that this can be the most impediment of success.
Many examples of this, mainly in U.S.A, are showed and how this problems are affecting the society and try to show some solution for this.

Alain shows an interesting side of society and makes you think and how long we can do to reach the so desired happiness.

The documentary is divided into three parts, which one has 45 minutes approximately. I liked so much that I didn’t see the time going, so if you want you can watch all parts in one day without problems. You can find it in the youtube website or try to get some torrent in some page.

Man On Wire (2008)
Running away from the subject of society, I’d like to talk about this documentary which is already very famous with its Oscar prize.
Man on wire tells the history of a tightrope walker Philippe Petit’s daring, but illegal, high-wire routine performed between New York City’s World Trade Center’s twin towers in 1974, what some consider, “the artistic crime of the century”.

The documentary shows the passion of Philippe in tightrope walk and his actions, aided by his friends, in walk on a wire in many world famous points like the North Drame Cathedral and the Habour Bridge in Sydney. But of course the focus is on the plan in how achieve the crime in walk on a wire between the twin towers.

I thought the documentary beautiful, Philippe really made the artistic crime of the century. You will not waste your time watching it.

Pessoal esse fim de semana foi bem corrido, mas também com muitas novidades. Para começar, minhas amigas que conheci na Austrália estavam aqui no Brasil, a Juliana veio passar o mês para visitar os pais e a Ana veio do Rio para cá passar o fim de semana.
Então resolvemos nos encontrar para tomar umas cervejas marotas e colocar o papo em dia.
No sábado a farra continuou, dei uma de guia turístico para a Ana e levei para alguns pontos de São Paulo, hahaha inclusive acabamos indo para uma feira erótica haha, foi bem engraçado.
Depois disso fomos jantar no restaurante Piaf perto da Paulista, onde estava acontecendo um aniversário de um amigo meu. E para finalizar terminamos até as 7 da manhã bebendo umas cervejinhas na região da Rua Augusta.
Ana e Juliana foi muito bom rever vc’s e tenho certeza que essa não será a ultima.

Guys, how is it going?
Well my last weekend it was very busy, but really good as well. First I had the opportunity to meet again two friends that I’ve met in Australia. That’s why Juliana and Ana were in Brazil for this month, so we took the opportunity to drink some beers, eat some chocolates and have a big conversation.
But this isn’t finished only with this. On Saturday I showed some points of São Paulo to Ana. After that we went with her friend to an Erotica Fair hahaha, it was really funny.
After the fair, we went to a restaurant to have a dinner with friends of mine and we finished the night in a bar located in a very famous street here in São Paulo.

Isso ae continuem com o PT e votem na Dilma depois.....

O ministério da Fazenda fechou a proposta de alteração na poupança. Envolve também os fundos de investimento de renda fixa.

O tema será discutido em reunião agendada para esta quarta-feira (13), com a presença de Lula. Vão à mesa duas sugestões:

1. Caderneta: Pretende-se cobrar Imposto de Renda sobre os rendimentos de poupanças com saldos acima de determinado valor.

A Fazenda sugere um de dois patamares: R$ 50 mil ou R$ 100 mil. A equipe do ministro Guido Mantega prefere a primeira opção. Lula dará a palavra final.

Se aprovado, o novo tributo só poderá ser cobrado no ano que vem. Por quê? Em função do chamado “proncípio da anterioridade tributária”.

Está previsto no inciso 3º, alínea “b” do artigo 150 da Constituição. Reza o seguinte:

Toda lei cria ou aumenta tributos deve ser publicada no ano anterior ao de início da cobrança. Ou seja, aprovndo-se em 2009, só pode ser cobrado em 2010.

2. Fundos: Planeja-se reduzir o percentual de Imposto de Renda que incide sobre os fundos de renda fixa. A alíquota máxima passaria de 22,5% para 15%.

Variável conforme o tempo de permanência do dinheiro na aplicação, a taxação dos fundos funciona, hoje, assim:

Até seis meses, 22,5%; entre seis meses e um ano, 20%; de um ano a dois anos, 17,5%; acima de dois anos, 15%.

A Fazenda sugere que o percentual de 15% passe a ser o teto de tributação dos fundos de renda fixa.

A redução de tributos não precisa obedecer ao princípio da anterioridade. Uma vez decidida, pode entrar em vigor imediatamente.

Se Lula concordar, o anúncio desse par de providências pode ser feito ainda nesta quarta. Havendo discordância, adia-se a divulgação.

O governo imagina que, com a combinação das duas medidas, evitará a migração dos fundos para a poupança sem impor sacrifícios aos pequenpos poupadores.

De acordo com os dados manuseados pela Fazenda, 96,85% da clientela da poupança (87,1 milhões de pessoas) tem depósitos inferirores a R$ 20 mil.

Essa legião de poupadores não seria alcançada pelo fisco. Com isso, Lula vacina-se contra o discurso da oposição, que converteu a caderneta em mote político.

Bom a partir deste post e alguns em diante serão dedicados a alguns documentários que tenho assistido ultimamente.

Não são poucos, então vou falando deles aos poucos, leia e tente escolher alguns que vc’s gostariam de ver, se puder todos, porque todos irão lhe fazer pensar bastante.

30 days

Na verdade esse é mais uma minisérie do canal FX do que um documentário. Mas toda a idéia começou através de um documentário, então merece muito ser visto.

Lembram do Morgan Spurlock??? Aquele cara que fez o “Super Size Me” o documentário que ele passa 30 dias comendo produtos do Mc Donalds.

Então continuando a idéia deste ai, o canal FX deu uma mini-série pra ele. Eu cheguei a ver as duas primeiras temporadas e acho que ainda não tem uma 3. Cada temporada tem 6 episódios e se resume na idéia do “Super Size Me”. Por exemplo: Morgan passa 30 dias vivendo no “Minimum Wage” que seria o salário mínimo por hora nos Estados Unidos. Outro episódio é de uma pessoa (ai já outra pessoa não Morgan) que é um católico das antigas passar 30 dias em uma comunidade gay. E tem mais alguns casos como de um católico fiel passando 30 dias com uma família mulçumana.
Bom, acho que realmente você não vai perder tempo vendo esses, na minha humilde é bem melhor do que ficar vendo novela ou qualquer outro programinha na tv.

Decadence – The Meaninglessness of the Modern Life.

Esse documentário de seis episódios fala sobre a sociedade moderna que está cada vez mais querendo ter grandes posses não por necessidade ou muito menos felicidade de si próprio e da família, mas sim para mostrar para os outros que tem mais riqueza que os outros. E com isso está trazendo mais infelicidade e casos problemáticos para a família e sociedade em volta. E também traz a questão: Se a gente vive com mais prosperidade, com mais saúde, dinheiro do que antes, porque estamos cada vez mais infelizes?

Os episódios se separam nas categorias: Dinheiro, Sexo, Democracia, Educação, Família, Deus (Religião)

Outro que vale a pena, porque os episódios são curtos e não vão te cansar.

No caso você consegue achar na Internet, já com lengendas eu não garanto, mas vc pode tentar achar em algum site database de legendas.

So starting in this post, I’ll talk about some documentaries that I’ve been watching lately.
There isn’t few, so I’ll talk about two or three in each post. See which ones that maybe you’ll enjoy and try to watch. I recommend you watch all with the time because they’re really good.

30 days
Actually this is more a mini serie than a documentary, but all idea started with a documentary. So it deserves to be watch.

Do you remember Morgan Spurlock from “Super Size Me”? So after this one FX channel gave to him a documentary based on the idea of the 30 days.
The miniserie so far has two seasons, each one has six episodes. In all of them Morgan Spurlock is the host, but in some of them Morgan he does the experiences as well. For example in the first episode he and his fiancee try to live 30 days with the mimimum wage of the U.S.A. Other episodes (most of them) are others persons who try the experiences. One for example is a faithful catholic guy living in a gay community per 30 days, or a american person against illegal immigration living with a family of illegal mexicans in U.S.A.
It’s really interesting try to watch and talk me later what you think about it.

Decadence – The Meaninglessness of the Modern Life.

This six episodes documentary talk about decadence and meaninglessness of modern, western life. It is also poses the question: If we live in such a great and prosperous world, and we are living longer, better, and healthier than before, why are we so unhappy?. There are interviews with many prominent experts and leaders in their fields throughout the series.

The episodes are separated by subjects: Money, Sex, Democracy, Education, Family and God.

It’s really great and will not be hard to watch because they aren’t longer episodes.

Bem pessoal antes de fazer um balanço de Melbourne, eu gostaria de postas as fotos da ultima viagem que fiz pelo estado de Victoria.
Eu acabei indo com alguns amigos para a estação de ski de Mt. Buller. É um conjunto de montanhas lindas com uma altitude de 1800 metros, e como estávamos no começo do outono ainda não tinha neve, mas mesmo assim o lugar estava lindo.

Well guys before I give my final opnion about Melbourne, I’d like to post the pics of my last trip around Victoria.
In my last trip my friends and I had been in Mt. Buller Ski Resort. It’s a large group of mountains with elevation of 1800 metres. In the winter all place is covered by snow, however even the trip happened in the autumn and the place without snow, the view was fantastic.

Pessoal to no Brasil. Desculpem não ter avisado antes mas to sem net em casa ainda. Foi muito bom rever a familia e matar a saudade.
Embora estando aqui tenho alguns posts finais para falar sobre alguns lugares que estive em Melbourne e para concluir um post para fazer um balanço de toda minha viagem.
Gostaria de dizer tbem que este não é o fim do RocketOzzy, vou mudar um pouco o foco do blog mas continuaremos na batalha ainda.

Comedy Festival and CBD in the night.

Aproveitando a internet na praça na sexta do dia 11, tava acontecendo um festival de comédia aqui na Federation Square, alguns foram mais ou menos mas outros foram bem engraçados, e o bom que sai tudo na faixa ehhehe. Depois do festival Colm e eu caminhamos pela cidade para tirarmos algumas fotos da cidade de noite, pude tirar belas fotos de um outro ponto de vista da cidade.
Para terminar a noite ficamos no apê bebendo umas cervejinhas marotas com alguns amigos e ficamos por lá sussa.

Ah uma novidade, já aluguei meu quarto para quando eu sair, aluguei para outro brasileiro gente boa que conheci na escola, está quase tudo praticamente pronto para ida para a terrinha.

Friday 11th happened here in the Federation Square the Comedy Festival. I saw some presentations and some of them was pretty funny. After that Colm and I walked around the city to take some pictures during the night. I could take some good ones.
To finish the night we got back to the apartment and took some beers with some friends. Was a pretty calm night.

One new, I already rented my bedroom, once again a brazilian will leave in my place and get all the pleasures of that room after I leave.

Continuando a saga das trips, eu finalmente pude conhecer o parque nacional Grampians, não sei se esse é o nome do lugar, mas todo mundo chama desse jeito. O lugar é enorme, do tamanho de uma cidade, tanto que nem visitei todos os pontos porque fizemos uma viagem bate e volta. Para você ter uma idéia do tamanho, tem um pessoal que acampa por lá só para poder visitar todos os pontos. Bom eu visitei a parte norte do parque e pude conferir pontos belíssimos.
Foi uma ótima viagem que ficará para sempre na minha memória. Confiram algumas fotos do lugar e assim que puder e achar uma Internet decente vou colocar todas as fotos no Picasa.

Keeping sequence with the posts about my trips, I finally knew the Grampians National Park. The place is huge, like a city, to have an idea some people do camping there to have time and visit all points. We’ve just visited the north part because we made a one day trip by car, and the journey took 3 hours just one way. Still we could check beautiful points and took awesome pics.
Was a beautiful memory trip and I will remember forever this day.

Uma coisa que é absurda por aqui em Melbourne em relação ao Brasil são os preços dos carros, aqui carro popular é o novo Ford Focus que custa menos de 20.000 (digo novo, porque não sei se tem ai nesse modelo), Golf (que já ta duas gerações a frente da do Brasil) que custa por volta dos 24.000. Corolla e Honda Civic que estão pelo mesmo valor. Ah Omega também é muito popular por aqui, mas aqui ele é chamado de Commodore.
Então se esses seriam os mais populares por aqui, então não é difícil de se ver nas ruas BMW, Mercedez, Porsche, Ferrari, etc.
E ainda por cima com essa crise os preços dos carros tem caído bastante.

Na minha opnião pessoal, esses carros são todos bonitos e pans, mas quando vejo um carro antigo na rua ou uma moto vespa, acho mais da hora. Os “muscle cars” são os mais bacanas heheh. Aqui quando rola casamento é muito comum as noivas irem para a igreja de Rolls-Royce e o noivo e os padrinhos de Mustang, aquele antigão conversível mesmo, muito loko.

Ah de vez em quando aparece rodando por aqui algumas limusines, tipo Blazer ou até Hummer, e ainda por cima algumas na cor rosa ahhaha.

No final do mês passado rolou o niver da Juliana, e como estou atrasado cronologicamente aqui no blog só estou postando as fotos do evento agora. Rolou uma reunião em um barzinho foi bacana, convidei alguns amigos meus a irem e no final todo mundo acabou se enturmando. Galera desculpe a demora nos post mas ultimamente tenho ficado sem internet aqui, provavelmente não vou ter Internet antes de ir embora aqui no apê, mas não se preocupem porque vou dar um pulinho na Fed. Square de vez em quando para usar a net de lá. (Na verdade é o que eu estou fazendo agora)

Bom tenho algumas novidades, dei uma viajada esses dias, aproveitando a oportunidade já que o irlandês aqui tem o carro do trampo e não paga gasolina então fica tudo beleza.

No dia 28 de março a gente foi dar uma passeada na cidade de Warburton, uma cidade pequena com um das nascentes do rio Yarra e também é conhecida por ser uma cidade hippie.

Bom, foi uma viagem de um dia só mas foi bacana.

Ah outra novidade, finalmente fui visitar os Grampians, então assim que puder vou colocar as fotos aqui no blog.

Guys, lately I didn’t have Internet in the apartment, so propably until I go back to Brazil I won’t have internet. But no worries, I will use the free wi-fi at the Fed. Square.

Finalmente visitei a famosa Brighton beach aqui de Melbourne e suas casinhas coloridas. O que eu posso dizer de lá: bom, tirando as casas coloridas a praia é um bom lugar para dar uma nadada e é meio deserta, cipans é boa para um momento a sós com alguém.
Eu não sei o preço mas uma casinha daquelas da praia o pessoal diz que é uma fortuna, também o bairro lá só tem mansões enormes, bairro de magnata mesmo.
Outra coisa engraçada é que tem um monte de casais tirando foto de casamento lá a noiva com o vestido e tudo.
E para fechar a noite a gente voltou para casa pela rua de St. Kilda beach.
Bom confira as fotos do dia, é uma pena que fui para lá do nada e não estava preparado para dar um mergulho.

Finally I have been on the famous Brighton Beach with its colorful houses. The beach is very interesting with its beach houses and peaceful waters, however the beach it’s a little bit desert, maybe it’s better for a moment in peace with some girl.
I don’t know the price of those houses but everybody says that cost a fortune, I don’t have doubt because that neighbourhood it’s very rich with enormous mansions.
Ah a lot of people take wedding pictures there, many brides with their dressers on the beach.
In the way back home we got the St. road to take more pictures.

Starting the last month.

Galera depois de um breve momento sem muitas fotos, posso falar agora que tenho material suficiente para novos post. E e ainda to devendo atualizar todas as fotos no meu álbum do Picasa, mas aos poucos vamos indo.

Bom de novidade posso dizer que minha escola acabou agora posso curtir o últimos mês de bonas. Tenho ido a alguns lugares interessantes, visitei a famosa praia de Brighton e suas casinhas coloridas, visitei a cidade hippie de Warburton e também tem o aniversário da Ju que aconteceu. Esse fim se semana que vem também promete uma nova viagem com o pessoal aqui do apt.

Alexandria Gardens e Shine of Remembrance.

Perto do Royal Botanical Garden (o que ainda preciso tirar fotos) rola um aglomerado de parques e monumentos. E também tem o famoso monumento de guerra em homenagem aos australianos que serviram. O monumento é bacana, é só uma pena que na hora que fui já estava fechado e não conseguir dar uma olhada por dentro, mas ainda irei lá de novo.

Guys, after a short time without new pics, I can say that I’ve enough material to post. I still have to update my Picasa album with all of the latest pictures, but slowly with the time I’ll do that.

Well what can I tell about news is that I’ve finished my course and now I’ve precisaly 25 days of Melbourne. Also I’ve been in interesting places, I’ve visited the famous Brighton beach, I’ve been in the hippie city of Warburton and in the birthday of my friend Juliana happened as well.

Alexandria Gardens and Shine of Remembrance.
Close to the Royal Botanical Garden (a place that I still have to take pictures) there is the Alexandria Garden, which one has a lot of beautifuls statues. And close as well there is the Shine of Rememberance, a place which remember all the australians who were summon to fight in the wars. The place has an amazing architecture, it’s a pity that I arrived too late and couldn’t see inside of the monument, but next time I will.

Coisas que vi por aqui.

Galera nesses tempos por aqui tenho assistido muitos filmes e documentários (não me perguntem como). Tenho mencionados alguns deles por aqui, mas gostaria de mencionar outros que vi e revi.

Vou começar a falar sobre os filmes, no próximo post irei falar sobre os documentários, que no meu ponto de vista será um post mais interessante.

Bom para começar a falar dos filmes, gostaria de lembrar que vi vários por aqui então só vou mencionar aqueles que talvez mereçam, e outros que por próprio gosto. Não sou nenhum critico, não vou falar de todos os detalhes da produção. Porque certamente como notarão este blog não é sobre cinema, mas tento falar de tudo um pouco a fim de dar sugestões na qual agradam a mim e a todos. E certamente você não tem a exata mesma opinião que a minha, mas essa é a beleza do ser humano.

Guys since my arrive I’ve been watching a lot of movies and documentaries. So I’d like to talk a little bit about them. Maybe some of them you already know, maybe not.

I will start to talk about the movies and in the next post I will talk about the docs, in my opnion will be more interesting.

To talk about the movies, I’d like to remember that I’ll only talk that ones that in my opnion deserve. I’m not a especialist and this blog doesn’t talk only about cinema. I try to talk a little about everything that in my opnion is good to everybody. Certainly my opnion isn’t the same that everybody, but that it’s beauty of the human being.

Blindness

Finalmente tive a oportunidade de ver este filme, e bom assumo que não li o livro ainda, então não tenho como comparar com ele. Mas falando somente sobre o filme minha opnião que o filme é bem forte, eu gostei em relação a isso. Mas também tem varias pontas que fiquei em duvida e o filme não responde. Uma coisa legal é ver as ruas de São Paulo no meio do caos durante o filme. Talvez o filme não chegue a altura de uma adaptação de um livro ganhador de um prêmio Nobel, mas acho que Fernando Meirelles fez um bom trabalho no final. Da lhe Fernando.

Finally I had the opportunity to watch this movie. I confess that I didn’t read this book yet. Talking only about the movie, my opnion is the movie is very strong and this is one of the things that I liked. One of the bad is that the movie doesn’t answer some questions that occurred in my head. Maybe the movie it’s not so good as the book, but I suggest to watch it.

Fast Food Nation

Outro filme que já conhecia mas não tive a oportunidade de ver antes. O filme fala sobre uma empresa de fast food (a la McDonalds) e tudo que se passa ao redor das pessoas que tem uma certa ligação com esta empresa. Pessoas como desde uma mina desencanada até imigrantes ilegais mexicanos. O filme faz você pensar em até que ponto você contribui ou não para a continuidade dos acontecimentos causados pelas grandes corporações. O filme não é nenhum merecedor de Oscar mas vale a pena.

Gattaca

Bom talvez todos conheçam este filme de 1997 do diretor Andrew Niccol. Eu assiti ele (de novo) a pouco tempo aqui. O filme se passa em um futuro no qual os seres humanos são escolhidos geneticamente em laboratórios. O motivo que me faz mencionar este filme aqui, é que cada vez que assisto ele me faz pensar que a sociedade está caminhando para o modelo mostrado.

This one maybe everybody knows, directed by Andrew Niccol. The movie happens in a future when the human beings are chosen in the moment of their born. I’ve watched this movie many times and never get tired of it. I really think that the society is walking to a model like showed in the movie.

Slumdog Millionaire

Grande vencedor de todos os prêmios do ano. Bom não preciso falar sobre a história, achei o filme bom, mas desculpem contrariar alguns mas para mim esse filme não seria o vencedor do Oscar este ano.

Gone Baby Gone

Saiu no Brasil com o nome de “O Medo da Verdade”, já tinha assistido lá e tinha sugerido para meu amigo Linton. Acho que o filme não teve um bom tratamento no Brasil porque foi direto para DVD, mas a meu ver o filme é ótimo. Tão bom que me senti horrível só de pensar em estar na posição do protagonista (Casey Affleck) no final do filme. Ah o filme é dirigido pelo irmão (Bem Affleck) e tem um ótimo elenco. O filme é baseado em livro do mesmo autor do ótimo “Sobre meninos e lobos”.

Boiler Room

Lançado no Brasil com o nome de “O Primeiro Milhão”. Esse filme pra mim é muito foda. Foi feito em 2000 e não me canso de assistir, é tipo um new classic cult pra mim. O Filme fala em geral no qual o dinheiro cega todo mundo e como muda as pessoas. Sugiro muito que assitem, pra mim é tão bom que até me sinto mal por alguns eventos que acontecem no filme.
Ah e outra a trilha sonora é demais, só Hip-Hop Old School lokos.

This movie is fantastic, I never tired watch, it’s like a new classic cult for me. Show perfectly how the money blinds and destroys lifes. The soundtrack is amazing as well, only Hip-Hop Old Schools.

Hahahahah, esse filme é fantástico, nunca vi Van-Damme realmente atuar antes. Superou até o Grande Dragão Branco. Esse filme é tipo uma meia-satira a vida dele, hahaha muito bom mesmo.

Hahahaha, wonderful, fantastic. I’ve never seen Van-Damme so good, even more than Bloodsport. This movie it’s some kind of a mocumentary about his life. Perfect heheh.

The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), The Life Aquatic (2004) & The Darjeeling limited (2007).

Esses filmes foram feitos pelo diretor Wes Anderson, “The Royal Tenenbaums” já tinha assistido antes e tinha achado muito bom. Os outros eu assisti por aqui, os três filme são histórias diferentes, mas tem alguns pontos muito em comum. Acho que todos eles no fundo se baseiam em histórias familiares.

Um fato muito interessante aconteceu quando estava assistindo o “The Life Aquatic”, no começo do filme descobri que Seu Jorge (é o cantor) é um dos atores do filme, e o mais engraçado é que ele canta musicas em português no filme gringo hehehe, muito maroto. As musicas são fantásticas na verdade são todas musicas do David Bowie, que ele adaptou para o português.

É tão bom que até peguei a trilha sonora. Escuto direto por aqui.

Directed by Wes Anderson this movies have an original point of view to show family problems. Royal Tenenbaums I’ve watched before, the others was the first time.
One interesting thing is that in the Life Aquatic a brazilian actor and singer is in the movie. He sings songs only in portuguese and the cool thing is David Bowie’s songs. Wonderful soundtrack.

Wild, Wild world

After two months without eat fast food, I've finally eaten a Big Mac, and I've to say was the most delicious Big Mac in my life so far. The Secret is, dont eat junky food so often, stay more than one or maybe two months (I think it's better) without eat, it will be very delicious.

Pessoal, imperdivel. Acho que esse filme foi muito injustiçado por não ter sido lembrado nas categoria principais do Oscar e do Globo de Ouro.
Muito foda, recomendo mesmo. Clint é o Cara.

Guys this movie is amazing. Clint showed one more time that he's The Man. It's a pity this movie wasn't remembered in the main categories of the Oscars and the Golden Globes.

Sorrento & Phillip Island

Portuguese - English

Essa ultima segunda foi feriado aqui em Melbourne, foi o “Labour Day”, seria o mesmo que o dia do trabalho ai no Brasil. Teve um desfile que rolou por aqui e um show com aviões fazendo manobras, não cheguei assistir mas vi que uma foto foi publicada no site do UOL.

Bom no domingo Eu, Colm, Linton e o Omar demos uma viajada através do estado. Como Colm tem o carro do trampo dele e não temos que gastar nada com combustível, esses roles saem bem em conta.

Sorrento e Portsea.
Fica ao sul de Victoria, é uma cidade muito pequena mas tem uma praias bacanas para visitar. Não chega ser nenhum grande ponto turístico aqui de Victoria mas mesmo assim é um lugar muito bonito.

Phillip Island.
Depois de sair de Portsea decidimos ir para Phillip Island então pegamos a avenida que beira o mar para pararmos em qualquer ponto interessante durante o caminho.
Bom todo mundo fala desse lugar aqui. É uma famosa ilha com praias bacanas e um ponto dela você consegue ver a parada dos pingüins. Isso mesmo, mas como não estávamos interessados em vê-los porque já tivemos a oportunidade de St. Kilda, fomos para outro ponto da ilha para ver o por do sol.

Semana que vem estamos planejando uma viagem para as montanhas, espero que aconteça e colocarei mais novidades aqui.

Ah uma noticia para os companheiros, meus tempo aqui estão com os dias contados, isso memos, dia 26 de Abril embarco de volta para terrinha.

Guys, last Monday was holiday here in Melbourne, was celebrated the Labour Day.

So last Sunday my flatmates, Omar and I went to travel around Victoria. First we went to the city of Sorrento and Portsea, the south of Melbourne. Very small but with beautiful beaches.

After that we decided to go to Phillip Island, so we got the road that board the sea for the reason of stop in any interesting point.
Phillip Island is very famous here because there are a lof of animals attractions. One of them is the Pinguins Parade. But we instead of see the pinguins we went to other point of the island to see the sunset.

Was a good trip, everybody liked and we could take a lof of pics.

Ah one big new, April 26th I will go back to Brazil, so my days here in Australia are finishing my friends.

Sexta feira a noite aqui no ape, logo mais indo para uma festinha bacana na casa de um pessoal.

Galera nunca pensei que diria isso a mim mesmo, mas que saudade de trabalhar heheh. Serio mesmo baixou um momento NERD, mas que saudade de trampar com Java hehehe. E nao e de hoje mas tenho sentido isso ha algum tempo ahahha.

Acho que meu fieis leitores que trabalham com isso (Ricardinho, Renato, Chewie, etc....) quando lerem isto vao me xingar ou dar risada. Mas e verdade heheh, programar e bom hahaha. E por isso que digo, nunca cuspam para cima......
Bom pelo menos posso ficar (talvez) um pouco sossegado que mesmo tempo sem atualizar CV, tem empresas ligando no meu cel no Brasil... Talvez a crise nao tenha abalado tanto o Brasil, porque aqui meu caros ta embassado a coisa, muita gente tem perdido emprego, outros tem ganhado mais, mas na selva de pedra e nesse mundo de posers e capitalistas, vence o mais forte (infelizmente), isso e ruim, mas nao pensem que aqui e um lugar ruim, ao contrario, quem tiver curiosidade de vir, aconselho, vc nao ira perder tempo.

E tendo um pensamento que ocorre quase sempre por aqui, mas talvez nao e um boa hora para compatilhar mas gostaria de deixar umas frases hehehe.

Respeitem os mais velhos, pois eles podem nos ensinar muito. Muitas vezes pensamos por ser mais jovens que sabemos de tudo e controlamos o mundo, mas no fim meu amigo, a experiencia deles mesmo baseado em outra sociedade nos mostram muito.

Bom saindo do momento Nerd, voltando para a cerveja, depois de algumas garrafas estamos (Eu, o Irlandes e um amigo Mexicano) vamos dar um role na cidade e logo mais ira para a festinha. Hoje a noite promete.....

Guys do you remember my mexican friend Iker? So, he’s back from his holidays in his country and this last Sunday we celebrated his birthday with a good BBQ. Well in this it’s not a surprise, beers and meet, basic. But the party didn’t stop in this, after the BBQ we went to Sydney Road where was happening a festival (yeah, one more). Was pretty cool, we went to a cool pub with 10 dollars jug of beer and the music was awesome.

Rolou umas cervejinhas marotas e até carne de canguru que até que não é de todo mal. Bom depois disso de todas as comelanças, fomos para Sydney Road, tava rolando um festival por lá. (Alias o que rola de festival aqui em Melbourne, é uma blz), foi muito bom fomos para um bar mto loko e rolando um som bem da old, rolou até Michael. Só sei que voltei para casa todo ensopado.

Queen Victoria Market Festival.

During last February happened the Queen Victoria Market Festival. The festival happened every Wednesday of the month, starting 7pm and finishing 10pm. It was pretty cool, some groups played nice songs and I could drink a good sangria.

The festival had many food shops, a big variety actually. It was a good option to prove a different taste.

No mês de fevereiro rolou um festival durante todas as quartas do mês. O festival começa a partir das 17:00 e ia até as 22:00. Foi bem legalzinho deu para se distrair um pouco e escutar umas musicas bacanas e tomar uma sangria marota.

Tinha barracas de comidas de qualquer tipo (exceto um feijão brasileiro maroto que to morrendo de saudade). Mas mesmo assim era um boa opção para comer algo diferente.

Guys sorry so long time without news, I’ve been busy these days. Since I’ve changed my course to Business english my time has been busy. A lof of homeworks to do, I’m feeling back to the times of my university.

Well to tell some news, another barbecue had happened next of South Yarra river, was very cool, many people appaered. People from Brazil, Australia, India, Emirates, Mexico, Thailand, Mauritius Island, Ireland, Singapore and Malaysia.

Pessoal desculpe a sumida, mas tive sem internet uns tempos e tenho me ocupado esses dias. To estudando agora no período da tarde e to fazendo Business english, e está sendo muito bom, para ter uma noção tenho que fazer um relatório gigante sobre um tópico envolvendo business ou sociedade moderna. (hum, to me sentindo de volta nos tempos da facu).

Bom de acontecimentos rolou mais um barbecue perto do rio Yarra, foi muito bom, comemos carne e bebemos varias brejas marotas, e o bom que sai mau barato para todo mundo. AUSTRALIAN DAY

Pessoal essa ultima segunda foi feriado aqui na Australia, um feriado que o pessoal adora por aqui, foi o Australian Day. O povo se empolga por aqui um saíram na rua com caras pintadas outros com “milhões” de bandeiras enrolada no corpo heheh.

E finalmente estou podendo conferir o real calor aqui de Melbourne, meu to derretendo todo dia, fácil fácil, a temperatura ta batendo os 40 graus.

E no Australian Day estava muito quente também e com isso Colm (meu flatmate) e eu resolvemos ir para a praia e tomar uma cervejinha marota. Entramos em um pico muito foda, na verdade ele é bem conhecido por aqui, rola vários show de bandas famosas lá. Para você ter uma noção o Public Enemy estava tocando na virada de ano lá.

Enfim adorei o lugar e com certeza vou voltar lá, alem do mais que lota de marotas lá, e hehehe, para a primeira visita naquele pub foi muito mais do que agradável hehehe.

Guys last Monday was holiday here in Australia. Was the Australian Day, a very famous and very celebrated holiday. In this day the people go to the streets with their faces painted with the Australian flag, singing or saying a lot of things hehe.

Finally the summer has came to Melbourne, it’s been very, very hot, somedays the temperature reach the 40 degrees easily.

In the Australian day was very hot too and with this Colm (my flatmate) and I went to St. Kilda to drink some beers. We went to the Esplanade Hotel, a awesome place, I’ve never been there before but I always wanted. The place is very famous here in Melbourne and happen a lof of shows. For example Public Enemy was there on the New Years day.

So to finish I putted the pictures of this pleasant day.

Bom para terminar a série de sessão Natal e Ano novo, vou postar agora as incríveis fotos que tirei da Great Ocean Road, essa estrada beira o oceano por mais de 243km, e tem diversos pontos interessantes para visitar. Um dos mais famosos são Os Doze Apóstolos, são paisagens naturais da montanhas que foram se deteriorando com o tempo pelo mar. É simplesmente incrível.
Mas na verdade essa viagem eu fiz no dia 1 de janeiro, minha véspera de ano novo eu passei na praia na cidade de Warrnambool, essa cidade é onde começa a Great Ocean Road. Foi muito legal ter passado esse tempo um pouco fora da cidade pela verdade, tava precisando de uma viagem dessas.

Guys to finish my part about Xmas and New Years season, Im putting the final chapter of what good happened to me in this season.
On New Years Eve I went with my friends Colm, Ana and Julian to Warrnambool, a small city away from the city. We spent our New Years in the beach and in a good nightclub. But the best part of the travel was the day after, we crossed the Great Ocean Road by car and we saw a lot of beautifiul places.
Well, with this, no more conversation, lets see the pictures. Tomorrow I will put the pictures that I took from docklands, a beautiful place.

Domingão dia 28 fui com o Colm e a Ana para Ballarat, é uma cidade vizinha que rola tipo uma parque ecológico com um monte de animais soltos por lá. Foi bem legal porque foi meu primeiro contato com os Cangurus e Coalas aqui na Austrália, na verdade foi até meio tarde porque já estou aqui 3 meses (nossa como o tempo passa rápido).

Bom voltando para a realidade, confira as fotos abaixo de como foi o dia e de como é Ballarat Wildlife Park. Galera tem muita foto só vou colocar algumas aqui, então não deixem de olhar no Picasa, o link ta no menu do lado.

Sunday 28th I went with Colm and Ana to Ballarat, a small city close to Melbourne, there we went to the Wildlife Park, a park with a lot of animals, mainly Kangaroos and Koalas. It was my first contact with Kangaroos and Koalas here in Australia, a little late I think because it’s been three months I’m here.

Too many, too many - Part 4

Galera no sabado dia 27 foi muito loko, eu estava aqui bodiado no apê quando pensei em convidar um pessoal para tomar uma aqui no apê, depois de alguns minutos Linton meu flatmate disse que também tinha convidado uns amigos. Pensei “beleza, legal, vai ser sussa”. Mas com o passar da noite um pessoal foi me ligando perguntando o que eu tava fazendo, e disse “ah to aqui no apê, chega aqui e traz umas brejas” o resultado disso foi que virou uma festa aqui aahha, tinha umas 17 pessoas aqui no apê que não é lá uma mansão heheh. Para resumir tinha gente da Argentina (pois é , Argentina, a mina era mau gata, mas não pude resistir de fazer piadinhas hahah), Austrália, Brasil, Chile, Cingapura, Colômbia, Coréia, França, Índia, Irlanda, México, Tailândia. Foi muito legal essa diferença de culturas porque todo mundo conversou com tudo mundo, e com isso você sempre acaba aprendendo coisas novas.
Depois da festinha foi tudo mundo pra balada, pro Croft Institute aquele lugar que mencionei antes que parece um laboratório de ciência. O legal é que a noite parecia que ia ser mau merda virou numa noite muito loka.

Guys on Saturday 27th was a very cool night. I was in my place feeling very bored, so I invited some friends to come to drink some beers and have some chat. By coincidence Linton had the same idea and invited some friends too. With this I thought “ok, will be a very calm night”, however along the night others friends called me asking what I was doing. I said to them “Come to my place and bring some beers”. As result the meeting turned in a party, more than 17 persons here, people from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Singapore, Colombia, France, India, Ireland, Korea, Mexico and Thailand. Was very cool this mix of culture, everybody was talking with each other.
After the mini party we went to the Croft Institute to finish the night.

Was very cool everything because I thought the night would be very boring, however was really awesome.

Bom no dia 26 fui dar um rolezinho com o Linton meu flatmate para tirar umas fotinhas novas do bairro de Southbank, lá tem vários pontos legais, bom você pode conferir nas fotos abaixo.
Depois a noite fui encontrar meus amigos da escola para conversar e passar um tempinho, bom o dia foi bem sussa porque tava todo mundo preguiçoso por causa do Natal hehhe. Mas mesmo assim o dia foi bem legal.

Too many, too many - Part 2

No dia de Natal eu voltei para a casa das meninas para continuar a ceia. O dia foi bem preguiçoso comemos demais de novo e depois aquela dormida básica na tarde.
Aqui com o horário de verão o sol só vai embora depois das 21:00, então antes disso fomos para a Praia para ver o por do sol. O legal lá da praia é que tem um píer que depois do por do sol aparece um monte de pingüins subindo as rochas, mau barato.

Bom depois disso fui encontrar o pessoal latino em um prédio bem perto, tava rolando uma festinha em um apê e com certeza não pude perder heheh.

Bom no final da noite voltei para a casa das meninas para dormir por lá, foi legal terminamos a noite bebendo vinho e vendo filme brasileiro que rolou na TV, tava rolando o filme “O Invasor” tava legal, mas tava com muito sono não consegui terminar o filme.

Bom galera não deixam de ver a continuação dessa saga mais que marota.

On Xmas day I came back to the girls house to continue the fiest. The day was in a very slow way, we ate and took a nap in the afternoon.
Here in Melbourne on summer time the sunset its only after 9pm so with this we went to the St. Kilda beach to watch it. There is a pier where a lot of pinguins appaer after the sunset to climb the rocks, was very very cool to watch them.

In the night I met some other friends in a party that was happening very close where I was.

To finish the night I came back to the girls house, I slept there but before we drunk some wine and watched a brazilian movie in the TV.

Too many, too many - Part 1

Galera, voltei, to vivo. Desculpem a ausência, mas esse tempo de Natal e Ano Novo fiquei um tempo ausente. Muitas coisas aconteceram, todas boas ainda bem, então o lado bom é que tenho tanta coisa para postar, que os acontecimentos desse período serão divididos em 6 posts. Tem muita coisa legal, tem a noite de Natal, Pingüins em St. Kilda, Festinhas no meu apê, Cangurus e Coalas, e minha incrível viajem de ano novo para a praia e a viajem de volta em torno da Great Ocean Road.

Christmas Eve.

Vamos começar com o Natal. Passei o Natal na casa das minhas amigas brasileiras, foi ótimo comi muito e o melhor ainda foi comida brasileira. Meus flatmates e outra amiga estiveram presente conosco nessa noite.
A noite foi muito boa conversamos bastante demos risada e ainda ganhei até presente das meninas, foi realmente uma supresa, gostei muito, fiquei até envergonhado porque não tinha comprado nada. Rsrs

Guys, Im back. Sorry my absent, but in this period a lot of things happened, all good of course. The brightside is I have too many things to post here and too many pics to show as well. So this period of Xmas and New Year’s Eve will it separated in six parts.

In my Xmas Eve I stayed in my brazilians friends house, was very good because we laughed a lot and ate brazilian food which was gorgeous. My flatmates and another friend were with me in this night as well.
The girls gave to me a beautiful present, I was really surprised and shamed because I didn’t buy nothing.
